SKILL BUILDERS FOR HOME PRACTICE

Looking for ways to use your children’s state test scores to support them at home? Search by grade, subject, and scoring category to find resources tailored to the areas where your child needs support. These resources have been identified as helpful to kids and mapped to standards by Raise the Bar, an initiative of America Achieves.

Box Tops for Education

Welcome back to school! I’m thrilled to be the Box Tops for Education® Coordinator for Echo Valley Elementary. Box Tops is such an easy way for parents to get involved in their child’s education. Just by purchasing Box Tops products, clipping the coupons and sending them into school, we earn cash that can be used to buy anything we need.

Our goal this year is $1,000!  Just have your child turn in boxtops to their teacher or Ms. Reid, all year long.

You can find Box Tops on thousands of your favorite products, from Big G® cereals to Avery® office supplies to Hanes® T-shirts to Boise® printer paper.  If you have any questions about how to donate, you can contact me at lisareid@nmcusd.org

Thank you,

Lisa Reid (kindergarten teacher)

Decorate-a-Door Contest

We had a friendly competition among our classrooms for Read Across America week.  The classroom door that had the most creative door decorations celebrating Dr. Seuss will get a popsicle party for the whole class!  The decorating deadline was Thursday, March 3rd.  We had a tie for 1st place:  Mrs. Pierson's class in room 27 and Ms. Cisneros' class in room 11!  Congratulations on a good well done!!IMG_0470.jpg
